Fur Kids:
- "Libby", CH. Kirkshire's Z-Moon Shadow
CGC, 10 year old Bouvier des Flandres. Foundation bitch of MoonWillow
Bouviers.
- "John", 9 year old retired racing
Greyhound. Adopted from GPA Nashville when he was 2 years old. My first
greyhound. He wasn't the racer he thought he is!
- "Master", 10 year old retired racing
Greyhound. Adopted from GPA/Nashville after failing "fostering" him. He
was my first foster and I just couldn't let him leave!
- "Jex", 8 year old retired racing
Greyhound. Adopted from Greys Matter Adoption Group. Jex is my 100 lb
greyhound but thinks he's the size of a Yorkie due in part to the fact that
he makes a habit of coming at you from across the room thinking he's going
to jump in your lap! Silly boy!
- "Rudder"...4 year old greyhound from an
oops litter at the track. Adopted thru Greys Matter Adoption Group when he
was 12 weeks old. With the stamina of the Energizer Bunny & the smarts of a
sighthound, our lives have never or will ever be the same!!
- And at the Bridge:
Chloe...my beloved Border Collie, whose patience and love was never ending.
*** Griffin ...my very first Bouvier. The kindest and gentlest soul you'd
ever met. The dog who opened up the world for me, taught me how to train,
taught me patience and perseverance. *** Max...the bestest feline in the
world. He was rescued literally from the pavement of the 101st Parkway. A
cat who thought he was a dog...or human. He entertained us, loved us as we
loved him for 14 years. And is terribly missed.
Favorite quote: "Some days, doing
"the best we can" may still fall short of what we would like to be able to do,
but life isn't perfect-on any front-and doing what we can with what we have is
the most we should expect of ourselves or anyone else." ~~ Fred Rogers
