Spay-neuter is one of the Humane Society’s largest budget expenses, but this year we will be able to fund lots more cat surgeries thanks in part to a $5,000 grant awarded by the ASPCA! The Clarksville-Montgomery Co. area has been inundated with a huge cat overpopulation for as long as most of us can remember, and desperate calls for help with spaying-neutering neighborhood & stray cats flood our phone lines each week. We are so thankful to organizations like the ASPCA for recognizing the needs of communities like ours nationwide, so that spay-neuter can be used as a proactive alternative to euthanasia.
